Eco Tourism

Eco-tourism presents an increasing opportunity to lift the viability of landholders and rural communities. It also provides an opportunity to protect and enhance those areas of high environmental value in regional and remote Australia.

While the growth of Eco-tourism is generally regarded as being a positive development most regional and rural areas, it does come with some risk. Increased tourist numbers to regional and remote areas with fragile ecosystems can cause damage to those environments.
